Terms of Service
Construction Cam by FastEdge Hosting · Last updated November 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Construction Cam (the “Service”), a job-site photo and video library operated by FastEdge Hosting (“we”, “us”), based in British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
- The Service is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old.
- If you create a company account, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of that company (the “Customer”). The person who creates the company becomes its first admin.
- People invited by a Customer — employees and clients — use the Service under that Customer's account and must also follow these Terms.
2. Accounts and security
- Keep your password confidential and use a unique password. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Customer admins control who has access: they invite people, choose their role (admin, team member, or view-only client), grant access to projects, and remove people. Admins are responsible for keeping that list current.
- Tell us promptly at support@construction.fastedgehosting.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Your content
- “Content” means the photos, videos, notes, project details and other material uploaded to the Service. The Customer owns its Content. We claim no ownership of it.
- You give us a limited licence to store, copy, process (for example, create web-sized copies, thumbnails and video previews) and display your Content solely to provide the Service to you and the people you share it with.
- You are responsible for your Content and confirm you have the rights and any consents needed to upload it — including from people who appear in photos or videos and from property owners where required.
- Photos may include location (GPS) and date information recorded by the camera. That information is stored with the photo and shown to the Customer's team (not to clients).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload anything illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that invades someone's privacy;
- upload malware, or try to probe, overload, or break the Service or its security;
- access projects, companies or accounts you were not given access to;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties outside your company and its clients without our permission;
- use the Service to send spam, including through invitations.
We may remove Content or suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell you when we reasonably can.
5. Plans, limits and fees
- The Service offers a free plan and paid monthly plans; current prices and limits are shown on our website and on the Billing page. We only charge you if a company admin chooses a paid plan, and we will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of a plan you are on.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to the free plan. Plan changes are prorated by our payment provider.
- If a payment fails, the account keeps working for 7 days; after that, new uploads, projects and invitations are paused until payment succeeds. We never delete Content for non-payment.
- Technical limits apply, including a maximum of 50 MB per photo and 10 minutes / 2 GB per video, and we may set storage limits per plan.
- Payments are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your Content safe, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. It may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your Content.
Keep your own copies of important records. The Service is not a substitute for your own backups or record-keeping obligations.
7. Ending your use
- You can stop using the Service at any time. A Customer admin can delete photos, videos and projects at any time; to close a company account entirely, email support@construction.fastedgehosting.com.
- Admins and team members can download original files before closing an account. Deleted Content is removed from our storage and cannot be recovered by you.
- We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or where required by law.
8. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not verify Content and are not responsible for decisions made based on it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FastEdge Hosting will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and (b) CAD $100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
The Customer will defend and indemnify FastEdge Hosting against third-party claims arising from its Content or from its users' breach of these Terms.
11. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify Customer admins by email or in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
